The first snake we acquired upon our reintroduction into the herp keeping world was a Corn Snake.  Payton's girlfriend overcame her fear and bought him a beautiful Corn Snake at a local pet store because she knew how much he loved them and missed keeping one.  Ever since then we have been infatuated with these great little snakes, and their genetics has continued to astonish us since the beginning.  The many different variations of these snakes is what really fascinates us and we can't wait to expand our collection of the snakes to include many new morphs.  Here are the animals as of now and you can view more pictures of each animal in the Gallery section of our site.  Enjoy!

Hypo

Bandit

Corn Snakes Bandit

Bandit is Payton's first snake (and still remains my favorite) and he is a '06 Hypo het Unknown Corn.  He is a beautiful example of a Hypo, and he is the most active snake Payton owns.  He's constantly on the edge of his viv, watching everything going on in the room and it almost feels like he's waiting for somebody to come home and play with him like a little puppy.  He's a great snake and we can only hope that he can pass on his great pattern, colors, and personality to the next generation.

Ghost

Boo

Corn Snakes Boo

Boo was the chosen mate for Bandit, and she couldn't be more beautiful.  She is a gorgeous Ghost het Amel Corn, and her best feature is her ruby eyes.  She has some amazing pinks and peaches coming in as well as some great yellows.  Her saddles are all diffused beautifully, and they look like frosting on the top of a great looking cake.  She is our "thinking snake" and you can tell she is always plotting her escape.  She's a real sweetheart and we can't wait to see what she produces in the years to come.

Anery het. hypo

Romeo

Corn Snakes #1

From Payton's first clutch there were too great looking holdbacks to see what's really going on with the genetics of Bandit and Boo.  Boo was supposed to be a Ghost het. Amel female and Bandit was a petstore pick up that has never been considered anything other than a Hypo het. Unknown.  So, what we predicted from the pairing was going to be Hypos with some other random possibilities, and what we got was a bunch of Normals and Anerys with hets we're not even sure of.  There were also some other odd match ups with other snakes related to Boo, so we're not exactly sure WHAT she is nor are we sure what Bandit is.  So, I was able to hold back a male and female from the clutch.  They are both great snakes, and although they're growing a little slower than we hoped, we're excited to see what they produce!

Juliet

Corn Snakes #2

#2 is the female of the pair of holdbacks from the Bandit x Boo breeding.  She's another great looking anery and is growing a litlte faster than her brother, #1.  We're really excited to see what these two produce if nothing other than to figure out exactly what's going on with these genetics.  Check #1's profile for more details on the Bandit x Boo match-up!

Tessera

Corn Snakes #1

This awesome new morph was first produced by KJ at KJUN Snakehaven and we couldn't be more excited to be brought in as part of this project to help learn more about the FIRST co-dominant morph in the Cornsnake world!  This little guy is eating like a champ right now and we're hoping to breed him to a couple of different girls here in the next year to really dive into what this new gene has to offer for the future of the Cornsnake hobby!

Lavendar Motley het Hypo

Delilah

Corn Snakes #1

Delilah is our first little girls to bring in the Motley pattern to our collection.  Unfortunately she had a hard first winter and didn't eat at all for us, so she's a little behind our other 2009 boys, but we're hoping she starts catching up quick. She's a beautiful little girl and since we've gotten her eating, she's got the appetite of Micheal Phelps and should prove to be a beautiful addition to our ever growing colony!

Ultramelaner Motley

Blazer

Corn Snakes #1

Any other Dodgeball fans in here?  This awesome guy has the colors to match some of the best looking Ultramelaner Motleys on the market today and he is another production of the originator of this triple recessive morph, KJ at KJUN Snakehaven.  He's an awesome specimen and we can't wait to breed him to some beautiful girls to see what we can do next with this great looking morph.
