For Christmas in 2007, Chase bought a Columbian Red-Tail Boa (Boa Constrictor Imperator) for our collection and we have been head-over-heels for them ever since! Their overall temperament, size, and docility is amazing and its safe to say that our collection of these beautiful snakes will expand in the years to come. Right now our plan is to breed these two because we have the 1.1 pair, but, as far as high-end genetics go, we haven't really looked deeper into the Boa Constrictor genetics. Here are the animals as of now and you can view more pictures of each animal in the Gallery section of our site. Enjoy!

Roxy

Roxy is our little sweetheart. She's a normal '06 female, and she's Payton's study-buddy when he's up late studying for tests. She is a great snake to hold, and she always wants to hold you as tight as she can. We had some health issues with Roxy when Payton first got her for Christmas from Chase, but since then she has responded amazingly and she is growing like a weed! We have a feeling she is going to be a big girl, and she should be ready to breed as soon as her partner Max is up to the task. With his beautiful pattern and her stunningly red tail, they should make a great couple!
Max

Max is Chase's male BCI, and he is a very good looking '07 male. He has amazing eye color and the amount of brown against his grey saddles say that he's going to be an absolute stunner when he gets older. He is the nippier one of the two Boas, but he is calming down with age and LOVES to hold on to anything he can grasp. Chase has been thrilled with this snake, and he's looking forward to breeding this gorgeous animal as soon as he's up to the task of passing on his amazing color and pattern!

Quasimoto

Quasimoto is an interesting story as I'm sure anybody can tell from looking at her. There is obviously a small kink in her neck and she was going to be euthanized by her breeder, but when she immediately started eating they just couldn't do it. So, we decided that we'd take her and after numerous x-rays and a voracious appetite she’s growing like a weed and her neck is straightening out! The deformity is actually in her skin and not a skeletal deformity and we’re excited for her (as a pet) as she’s a sweetheart and absolutely beautiful!
